Arts Crush – La Figa, Baby La Bouche, Luminous Pariah

October was a special month for Dr Sketchy’s.  We partnered up with Arts Crush, The Seattle Erotic Arts Fetival, and the La Figa Project to bring you a seductively unique experience. The Seattle Erotic Art Festival is proud to present a collaboration between two of its 2011 installation artists, Dr. Sketchy’s Anti-Art School  and the  La Figa Project .

Chef Tiberio Simone of La Figa Project created his beautiful trademark art, placing fresh food on near-nude models, Baby La Bouche and The Luminous Pariah, as seen in the recently published book, La Figa: Visions of Food and Form . Then in the spirit of Dr. Sketchy’s, attendees will draw these models while Ernie Von Schmaltz hosts the evening, offering drawing contests and prizes for the best sketches. La Figa: Visions of Food and Form is available for purchase, and author Simone and photographer Matt Freedman were available to sign books throughout the event.
